Maurise Maclou was born in South Africa and grew up in Australia before making her home in Los Angles, CA.  Her career in the entertainment industry began as a performing artist at a very young age, dancing and singing on various national television shows throughout Australia. She has worked on films and commercials throughout Australia, Malaysia, South East Asia and USA.

Maurise trained formally at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts receiving a BA in Performing Arts and Youth Work. She has also trained briefly with the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). She has appeared on many television shows and films in Australia, Malaysia and USA. As well as working in film, Maurise has committed herself to helping others. She has worked in the international development arena for various agencies and national governments in community and policy sectors.

In 2003, Maurise Maclou founded her production company, Earth Angel Entertainment. She has collaborated with many production companies on projects, most recently post production of the award winning documentary film and soundtrack “Soundz of Spirit”, in association with Jog9 Production.
